Electronic Money Order (EMO) Service

By the grace of Almighty Allah and tireless efforts of Pakistan Post’s senior management, the Electronic Money Order Service has been reinstated at all GPOs nationwide and has been successfully rolled out at the Digital Franchise Post Offices (DFPO) today.

To mark this auspicious occasion, the Honorable Minister for Communications Mr. Murad Saeed accompanied by the Federal Secretary for Communications Mr. Zafar Hassan graced a ceremony held at ECO Postal Staff College Auditorium Islamabad. The ceremony was attended by all senior Postal Officers under the audacious leadership of the Director General Mr. Khalid Javaid and Addl. DG (Ops) Mr. Hassan Akhter Khan.

The DG shared his vision for PPOD with the launch of EMO service and emphasized its importance and potential; especially for cash-on-delivery business. The Federal Secretary Communications appreciated the efforts and initiatives by the PPOD management and extended his support towards the department.

The Federal Minister made an Electronic Money Order booking for the DG PPOD at the DFPO counter setup at the occasion, followed by his inspirational and passionate speech about Pakistan Post’s progress during his tenure and its bright future ahead. He emphasized on the fact that Pakistan Post carries the potential to significantly contribute to Pakistan’s economy and its indisputable strength as a state institution.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and group photo of the honorable guests with the star performing team.
